Randall Jacops

President and Chief Executive Officer


Randy Jacops was named chief executive officer in 2006. Previously, Mr. Jacops was the VP and GM responsible for Trilogy Technology Group, Trilogy’s enterprise software business unit. Upon acquiring Versata, Trilogy combined Trilogy Technology Group and Versata to form a single business unit, Versata, focused on enterprise software and devoted to customer success and innovation. With the combination, Mr. Jacops became CEO.
During his tenure at Trilogy, Mr. Jacops served in a variety of operational and strategic roles encompassing consulting, engineering, finance, and general operations. Before his recent assignment as VP and GM of Trilogy Technology Group, he served as the COO of Trilogy’s Automotive and High-Tech business units. Throughout his tenure, Mr. Jacops has championed and implemented Trilogy’s Customer Success Program at a variety of Global 1000 corporations and is excited to bring the same success commitment to all of Versata’s customers.
Prior to Trilogy, Mr. Jacops was a partner with Deloitte Consulting, specializing in business transformation initiatives for global corporations in the manufacturing and technology industries. Mr. Jacops was a founding partner of Deloitte’s Shared Services business, where his team grew a start-up business to a $50M service line, one of the fastest growing and successful endeavors within Deloitte. Mr. Jacops started his career as a financial analyst with Ford Motor Company, where he performed a wide variety of jobs, from Finance Staff to plant-floor analysis.

Christopher Smith

Vice President, Operations


Chris Smith was named Vice President, Operations in 2006, and as such oversees all engineering, consulting, marketing, and IT activities for all of Versata’s business verticals. Previously, Mr Smith was the GM responsible for Trilogy Technology Group, Financial Services Business Unit, as well as their Consumer Public Business Unit. Upon acquiring Versata, Trilogy combined Trilogy Technology Group and Versata to form a single business unit, Versata, focused on enterprise software and devoted to customer success and innovation. With the combination, Mr. Smith became VP of Operations.
Mr. Smith as served in a variety of operational and strategic roles for Trilogy since coming on board in 1996. Before his recent assignment as GM of Trilogy Technology Group’s Financial Services and Consumer Public Business Units, he served as the Sr Director of operations for Trilogy’s Financial Services, Technical Solutions, and High-Tech business units. Mr Smith has a long track record of delivering customer success and driving value for global 2000 companies for over the last 15 years.
Prior to Trilogy, Mr Smith was head of Information Systems and Application Development for several leading handheld computer manufactures as well as instrumental in driving technology changes within the public sector. His experience in the manufacturing and software industry provide the executive team valuable insights and experience in building customer, shareholder, and employee value.

Sean Fallon

Vice President of Finance


Sean Fallon is Versata’s Vice President of Finance and acting Chief Financial Officer. Sean is responsible for the global financial operations of Versata and brings extensive experience in corporate finance, financial operations, planning, investing, M&A, and restructuring. Sean joined Trilogy in 1999 and has served in several financial leadership positions, including Treasurer and Vice President of Internal Finance. During his tenure, Sean’s leadership has been critical in executing Trilogy’s commitment to profitable and sustained growth.
Prior to joining Trilogy, Sean served as Vice President of M&A for a NYSE financial services company. Previously, Sean was a manager with Price Waterhouse where he specialized in business turnarounds and crisis management.
Sean holds an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin, where he also completed his undergraduate studies in Accounting and Honors Business. Sean remains involved with the University of Texas and serves as an advisor to its business school.

Carlo Boldi

Executive Vice-President, EMEA


In 1984, Carlo Boldi was responsible for the start-up of Artemis International (formerly Metier Management Systems) in Italy and Spain. Since then, he has also led Artemis operations in Portugal, Greece and Turkey.
Under Boldi’s leadership, Artemis has dominated the region’s project management market, growing from $800K in the first year to $8 million in 2001. Boldi was a major shareholder of the initially joint-venture company that now comprises Artemis’ Italian operations. He has consistently grown the company profitably, while also starting up Italian operations of Softlab - the BMW software engineering and system integration enterprise.
Prior to his long and successful career with Artemis, Boldi was Vice President of European Corporate Services for Automatic Data Processing, Network Services International. He co-founded the company’s Italian operations in 1975, and led a team of 120 people in five countries to spearhead a turnover of $20 million.
Boldi graduated magna cum laude with a mechanical engineering degree from the Politecnico di Milano.

Kaoru Nakamura

Executive Vice-President, Japan


Kaoru Nakamura is Executive Vice President of Artemis International Solutions Corporation and President of Artemis International Ltd. Japan.
1980年大手鉄鋼メーカに入社 エンジニアリング部門システム部にて、 各種プロジェクトのプロジェクトマネジメントシステムを開発。
1988年 アルテミスインターナショナルに入社。1998年、日本におけるプロジェクトマネジメント気運の高まりを機に、 コンサルティング活動を開始。大手企業の業務革新をPMの観点から支援。
2002年 アルテミスインターナショナル代表取締役社長に就任。
2005年 アルテミスビジネスコンサルテイング株式会社設立に伴い、パートナーに就任。
